In this page, i will be sharing with you about the things and knowledge that i've gained during the entire module for my free electives - Visual Illustrations and will be stating my thoughts and the assignment that i've done while honing my skills for visual illustrations throughout the entire module. As i've only join this particular modular for this semester during the 3rd week after class commences, with the help of the Photoshop knowledge that i've acquired previously, i was able to follow up with the class on its progress without facing any major problems. Without further ado, lets proceed to the assignments.
Assignment 1
In this first assignment. I was given the task to create a monster using the shapes provided by the lecturer using Adobe Illustrator and after coming up with the monster that i created, we were to make a pokemon card by adding the monster into it and adding the name, elements for the monster and the skills and stats. The below is my final product.
Assignment 2
After completing the first assignment, we proceeded into doing something more challenging compare to the first assignment, which is to produce a illustrations landscape. There were certain options while completing the assignment, we can either used the drawing examples that the lecturer gave or we can also create our very own landscape. I decided to take up the challenge and proceed to producing my own landscape. For the concept of my landscape, i wanted to create something which conveys a warm and peace feeling while my audience look at it, which is why i decided to go with a more dim color palette with someone fishing while gazing at the sunset.
Project 2 - Decisive Moments
For this assignment, we were given the task to create a animated GIF from a scene where we personally feel that it plays a role or is a decisive moment for a particular movie that changed the entire outcome later on. For this project I have decided to create a animated GIF from a particular scene where this character has been loved by many people including me myself - Itachi from the saga of Naruto. The scene I in specific chose was the scene where he was extract something that was foreign in his brothers body and also his death and from this scene I chose to create the GIF where he uses one of his technique of his eye -Amaterasu. I find that it is sad and cool in the meantime as this was a scene where I am still able to remember even when it has past so long and after him doing so, his brother turn out the other way. Below is my progress while completing this assignment.
Final Assignment - Visual Novel and Motion Comic
This semester has come to an end but before ending it, we were needed to complete one last assignment. As always, the last assignment will be the most challenging amongst the previous 2. Without further ado, lets move on to our final assignment. For this assignment, we will need to produce a visual novel - comic and later on convert it into a motion comic, which is a video that narrates our story using the timeline feature that we have learned during the past assignments but before doing this, we would need to narrate a story or a theme for the novel first. After much thinking for a few days, i've decided to do something more of a fanart type of novel out of the game that is very popular recently, Genshin Impact with a short story of my favourite character coming out soon. So in the story, i made it look like a little sneak peek and the characters that are involved inside would be expecting someone ascending soon at the city of Liyue, guessing who would it be this time and later on turned out to be the archon which guards the city of Liyue , which is Rex Lapis, later on reincarnate into a human named Zhong Li to retire from its duty as the guardian of Liyue.

As i personally like and have been reading black and white comics since young till now, i've decided to make it this way with a mixture of some scenes showing with colours. After completing the entire plot of the story, i then proceed in producing the Motion Comic. As i wasnt that good in video making, i used a phone app taught by one of my friends which i myself finds it easier as well compare to the software which is used by professionals and managed to complete the assignment within the allocated time.
